Let the following be made known to all members of the Aalto community.

For a hundred years, Tempaus projects have been organized in my name. During this century, we have achieved tremendously as a community. Sheryl Tokyo and KY’s Honorable Mursu have joined this honorable cause after the founding of Aalto University. Together, we drive society forward and make a difference in matters that are important to us.
In today’s economy, the importance of productivity in work has become even more important. However, we must not forget the value of work that cannot be priced. Volunteer work is a community resource with a long history. It has also been the foundation upon which Tempaus has been built throughout history. Volunteer work has been a strong presence in society over the years, embodied in the Finnish spirit of communal effort. Fundamentally, it's about caring for others and true altruism, which is also evident in small everyday actions. We feel that nowadays it no longer receives the appreciation it deserves.

Dear Aalto Community! We have decided that during the tenth month's reign on earth, the most energetic individuals from each school of Aalto shall organize a spectacle the likes of which have never been seen! In the name of our collective will, we command you to participate in Tempaus about the value of volunteer work in Finnish society! Let us demonstrate the ability and will that is expected of us and highlight the efforts of all hands.
